1. Notice

This Personal Data Protection Notice is issued pursuant to the requirements of the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) of Malaysia, as amended. It explains how Steven Nagendran ("I," "me," or "my") may collect, process, store and use your personal data when you use steven.com.my or contact me. It should be read together with the Privacy Policy.

2. Personal data collected

The personal data I may collect includes, but is not limited to:

  • Name and designation
  • Company or organisation name
  • Email address and phone number
  • Enquiry details and requirements
  • Training participation records, where I deliver a course you attend
  • Billing references for agreed engagements

Your name and email address are needed for me to respond to your enquiry. All other information is optional. If you choose not to provide the required information, I may not be able to respond to you or provide the services you request.

3. Purpose of processing

Your personal data is collected and processed for the following purposes:

  • Responding to enquiries and providing proposals or quotations
  • Delivering IT training, consulting, speaking and collaboration engagements
  • Coordinating with training centres or partner organisations involved in an engagement you requested
  • Maintaining business records
  • Complying with legal and regulatory obligations

4. Disclosure of personal data

Your personal data may be disclosed to the following parties:

  • Training centres and partner organisations involved in delivering an engagement you requested
  • Trusted service providers, such as website hosting, form delivery and email providers
  • Professional advisers and auditors
  • Regulatory authorities, where required by law

I do not sell your personal data.

5. Rights to access and correct

Subject to any exceptions under applicable laws, you may request access to, correction of, or withdrawal of consent for the processing of your personal data. You may also ask me to stop using your personal data for direct marketing. To make a request, contact me using the details below.

6. Data security

I implement reasonable security safeguards to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, accidental loss, alteration or disclosure.

7. Retention

Personal data is kept only as long as necessary for the purposes above, or as required by law (for example, tax and accounting records). It is then deleted or anonymised.
